1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website, registering for tournaments, paying entry fees, or enrolling in coaching programs hosted by the Thane Lawn Tennis Association (TLTA), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any local laws.
2. Tournament Registration & Online Payments
All tournament registrations must be completed through our online portal.
- Confirmation of Entry: Your tournament entry is only officially confirmed once the payment signature has been successfully verified via Razorpay and a registration code (e.g.
TLTA-26-XXXXXX) has been issued. - Information Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate player details, including correct dates of birth, AITA/MSLTA registration numbers, and contact info. Providing false information may result in immediate disqualification from the draw without refund.
- Transaction Failure: TLTA is not responsible for registration failures resulting from internet banking lags, payment gateway issues, or failed webhook communications.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please review our refund guidelines carefully before registering:
- Standard Withdrawals: Player entry fee refunds will only be processed if a withdrawal request is submitted to info@tlta.in before the tournament's official registration closing date (deadline).
- Draw Publication: No refunds will be provided for withdrawals made after the tournament draws or order of play lists have been finalized and published.
- Force Majeure / Postponements: If a tournament is postponed or cancelled due to weather conditions, court maintenance, or other unforeseen events, TLTA will either reschedule the matches or issue a full refund within 7-10 business days.
4. Player Code of Conduct & Regulations
All registered players agree to strictly adhere to the rules of play and code of conduct set forth by the **All India Tennis Association (AITA)** and the **Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association (MSLTA)**:
- Players must report to the referee's desk at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match time.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct, verbal abuse, racquet abuse, or damage to court facilities will result in immediate match forfeit and disqualification from the tournament at the referee's discretion.
- Players are responsible for checking draw brackets and match timings, which are published on the website 48 hours before the start date.
5. Medical & Liability Waiver
Tennis is a physically demanding sport involving risks of injury. By registering for TLTA events or coaching programs:
"You hereby declare that you are physically fit to participate in competitive play and coaching sessions. You release and hold harmless the Thane Lawn Tennis Association (TLTA), its officers, organizers, referees, coaches, and sponsors from any liability for personal injuries, accidents, health complications, or loss/damage to personal equipment sustained on or around the court facilities (including Thane Gymkhana Officers Club)."
6. Website Intellectual Property & Usage Limits
The design, logos, media gallery photographs, and text content published on this website are the intellectual property of the Thane Lawn Tennis Association. You may download tournament fact sheets, draw PDFs, and order of play schedules for personal, non-commercial use only. Hotlinking images, duplicating text, or scraping ranking database directories without written permission from TLTA is strictly prohibited.
7. Governing Law
Any claims relating to TLTA's services, tournament disputes, or website usage shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Thane, Maharashtra.
